Arrowhead's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Reno, Nevada houses both our corporate offices and our CBD extraction operation. Our proprietary processes allow us to convert 500 kg of plant biomass in one shift per day, producing 50-75 kg of crude oil depending on the CBD content of the hemp plant starting material. Manufacturing volume can be doubled with the addition of a second shift.
We produce both full-spectrum CBD oil and broad-spectrum CBD oil, as well as finished goods containing a variety of cannabinoids.
Full-spectrum CBD oil is a “whole plant extract” from the hemp plant, and may include compounds such as terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids in addition to CBD. These compounds work together to provide a property known as the entourage effect, in which the benefit of the cannabinoids is enhanced by the other phytochemicals in the extract.
Full-spectrum CBD oil may contain up to 0.3% by volume of Delta9-THC; this concentration is below the limit permitted by Federal Law.
Broad-spectrum CBD oil contains the beneficial properties of full-spectrum CBD oil while having non-detectable amounts of Delta9-THC. This is accomplished by favorable plant genetics or by refining the full-spectrum CBD oil through a process known as remediation to remove cannabinoid Delta9-THC. This produces all of the benefits of the entourage effect without any potentially psychoactive components.
