Established in 2018 to provide advanced extraction and remediation techniques to the CBD industry, Arrowhead Laboratories has expanded into other areas. We manufacture proprietary retail products, wholesale white label and private label products, and CBD "crude oil" and refined CBD oil to other manufacturers of CBD products. We're also specialists in R&D offering formulation design, process design, and related consulting services to other companies in the CBD Industry. All of our activities utilize proprietary formulations and processes developed in-house.
Not all CBD is equally effective. As the industry is still maturing, separating the good from the bad can be difficult for consumers and retailers alike. We focus on the underlying science, avoid unsubstantiated marketing, and have all of our products rigorously tested by third-party laboratories. Stephen M. Youts. Founder, CEO, and CFO. Since 1980, Mr. Youts has been a founder, CEO, and serial entrepreneur with 11 companies, some of which rely on proprietary industrial processes. He entered the nutritional supplements industry in 2015, when he was a co-founder and CEO of Toomey Health Products. Prior to his career as an entrepreneur, Mr. Youts was an executive at some of the top investment banks in the world.
Dr. Kevin Schmidt. Chief Operating Officer and Chief Science Officer. Dr. Schmidt holds BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining Arrowhead, Dr. Schmidt was Director of R&D for Centuria Foods, a CBD manufacturing company. As an active member of the cannabinoid industry, Dr. Schmidt has researched and created new processes, product formulations, and CBD products. He has also served on expert panels and taught courses at national conferences. Before entering the cannabinoid industry, Dr. Schmidt ran supercomputing operations in labs at the University of Texas at Austin and at the University of Nevada - Reno and was an instructor and research associate in high performance computing (HPC) technologies.
Charles E. Harrell, Esq. Managing Partner and Senior Advisor. Mr. Harrell has been a Senior Partner in international law firms for 41 years. Mr. Harrell’s law practice focuses on Corporate, SEC, and M&A Law involving complex transactions. He is also a successful venture capital investor with over 20 years of experience.
Brendan Leonard. Senior Advisory Director. Mr. Leonard holds an MBA and has over 20 years of experience serving as CEO or President of growth-oriented companies in the healthcare and technology industries, as well as serving as either CEO or President for several 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Leonard served in senior marketing and sales positions for Hasbro Inc. and Samsonite Corporation.
